  • Jesus Has Asses!

A recent commenter was destined for that Big Bin Where The Bozos Go, but my colleague Gee Suss rescued him from obscurity.

If you would believe it, he was simply “bob” and although logs show him as coming from near Burwood, he chose to give a bogus email address (normally an instant ticket to the bin) and simply message us with

(link to a Youtube video of some 27 minutes’ duration)

    i win

Not substantial by anybody’s standards, huh?

Gee Suss is a methodical chap, and watched the video. His dissection of it shows…

Even ‘Answers in Genesis’ a full on creationist website contains the above in the ‘Arguments Creationists should NEVER use’ list and a refutation of the claims by Ron Wyatt

Even the creationist idiot Kent Hovind knows he is a fraud, and Hovind is just a plain ignoramus himself.

    Check out their report http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v14/i4/report.asp

… that “bob” has chosen a dud. At least he’s consistent.

So, “bob”, this one’s for you, and the Jesus who encourages you to do the online equivalent of placing burning bags of poo on doorsteps. I am sure he’s proud.

One response to to “Jesus Has Asses!”

    1. Actually I didn’t watch the video, I’d seen it before, and this is something many christians bring up along with ‘footprints of humans next to dinosaurs’ and heaps of other hogwash.

One of the most painful things is this seems to be the general level of knowledge of most christians, then you get the few apologists that read other apologists material, and try and use that to shore up their beliefs. They never look at the other sides of arguments or indeed whether there is any truth to it (ironic eh), if it fits, they use it. standard practice really.

The problem most christians have with those opposing their beliefs, are that the non-believers have generally THOUGHT about their position. They are not taking a position, and trying to reinforce that, shoring up the untenable .. they have come to a position via reasoning.

Most christians do not use reasoning, find statements of reasoning to be confronting, and use the closest thing they can grab to justify their position.

And they wonder why I seem as tho I am angry sometimes .. it’s not that, I am usually frustrated, and have no tolerance of re-hashed arguments without a thought process behind it. This is one reason I dislike religion, despise it’s influence. It’s not people that I dislike, it’s religion.
