  • School student submission

Sent in by a reader, a great parody logo by some school students, as per the email “For context, big cru was a meeting of all the Christians at my school held every week. Its named after the crusader camps they hold every so often.”

Cheers “J”, thanks for passing this on! And solidarity from the crew at Jesus All About Lies with the struggles your having dealing with this stuff, we do understand and your not alone. It’s kids like yourself that is one of the reasons we think a critical review site such as this is so important. Whereas the christians will take offense I’m sure, we do understand that the statement and simply being able to make it, is very important to you, thanks for expressing yourself!

    1. If perhaps J or any other students who have been subjected to Big Cru or similar programs at school could get in touch, I am assembling information on stealth marketing by church groups to youth.

Black@JesusAllAboutLife.com will reach me, and the anonymity of any informant will be kept.

    2. “Jesus Fucking Christ”

      Wow. Witty.

    3. An expression of the students’ opinion, Matt.

Have you something better to offer?

    4. I think I like this site.

    5. Hi,
Do athiests believe that humans are rational beings, that we can think and solve a problem, answer a question with a rational, intelligent mind and not just from a bio-chemical reaction in the brain?

    6. Hello Chris!

Atheists (it’s great that you don’t capitalise the word, as that leas to people thinking there is some actual Central Atheist Creed; but please learn to spell it!) believe many things.

Our point of unity is that we do not believe in god/gods/deities or divine beings.

As to the nature of thought, I must admit I find your thought processes very puzzling indeed. There would be better places to troll your question, and I wish you luck in finding them.

    7. Hi Chris, are you anglican by any chance? just they seem to always lay out the DUMBEST replies to posts, totally off topic, with no real direction or thrust. It kinda makes the hint that all this cognitive stuff was given by a supposedly ‘supreme being’ kinda funny in context.

Just say it dude. Say your point rather than fishing for gaps.

Have you heard of neuroscience? It’s extremely well explained with MOUNTAINS of evidence from the molecular level up.

So you have some sort of evidence that neuroscience is wrong? Is that it? I’m sure the massive international community is waiting on your every word, as indeed this is how science works. Heck lives depend on it!

c’mon, show us what you have that is such a better explanation that the voluminous material on the subject that has been peer reviewed and continually mounting each day.

      I’m intrigued.

    8. Why would a Christian have to prove neuroscience as wrong? Or an atheist have to prove it right? Neuroscience and our knowledge of the human brain does not prove or disprove God’s existence.

    9. Bec, unfortunately all religion really does is try and say ‘science can’t explain it all’ so they basically put forward stupid questions without trying to look up exactly what humans know, etc.

Basically the stance of religion is to NOT learn as they assume you CAN’T know everything, therefore god did it.

The question put forward is an example of the dumbing down that religion plays on people. They just assume things are ‘magic’

so sad, and these same people teach that mindset to kids.
